Carmen Cheng’s practice focuses in the field of trusts and estates, including estate planning, probate and trust administration. She counsels professionals, business owners, families and individuals to develop a comprehensive plan addressing estate and wealth transfer planning. From straightforward wills and trusts to the more complex tax-advantageous estate and gift planning, primarily involving real estate and closely-held business interests.

Carmen also possesses experience in transfer tax and California property tax issues relating to the ownership and transfer of California real property interests. Carmen has also advised clients on post mortem matters involving probate, trust and estate administration.

Carmen received her J. D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 2010 and her B.A. from University of California, San Diego in 2006. Carmen is a member of the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association and is fluent in conversational Cantonese and Mandarin.
